The Meterman Apprentice Training program is a 3 year program for individuals interested in becoming Journeymen Metermen . The course is designed to fulfill the necessary 144 academic hours typically required by a utility's apprenticeship program. This particular Meterman Apprenticeship curriculum has been recognized by various utilities in the state of Washington. At completion of this course, and with on-the-job training, the student should be prepared to complete the IBEW Union Journeyman exam
The Advanced Meter Training Class is designed for individuals who already have a background in the electrical field but needs to know metering specifics. Pre-requisites apply. The entire three-year Apprenticeship curriculum is taught within an intense ten month period. A previous journeymen status in the electrical field is required.
